Calico Skies

Calico Skies – founded in 2005 – is a pop/rock project from Germany. The first two albums, "State Of Affairs" (2007) and "Ripcords" (2014), were created as a trio. After Markus Bellmann and Reimar Hünefeld left the band, Wolfgang Opel released "The Elegance Of Isolation" (2021) more or less as a solo effort. The new album "To The Lonely Sea", produced by Andrew Lauer, was recorded with a brand-new international line-up and was released in the summer of 2025. "But Hey Yeah, Yeah You" is the fifth single. The band is once again working on new songs and has already been in the studio. The new single, "The Wind in Your Sails, The Hope in Your Trails", drops in mid‑June 2026 along with two remixes.
