Biography & Metadata
Dublin born and Berlin based, Jordan makes alt-pop for people who feel everything a little too much. Blending the warmth and attitude of early-2000s pop and R&B with alternative and electronic production, her music moves between intimacy and intensity: vulnerable one moment, bold and playful the next. Inspired by the emotional honesty of artists across pop, R&B and alternative music, Jordan writes about the less polished sides of being human – desire, self-doubt, mental health, heartbreak, connection and the strange process of trying to understand yourself through it all. Her songwriting is deeply personal without taking itself too seriously, pairing conversational storytelling and dynamic vocals with infectious melodies, textured electronic production and moments made to be felt live. That contrast sits at the heart of Jordan as an artist. Softness can coexist with sexuality, vulnerability with confidence, and introspective lyrics with music you want to move to. Rather than presenting one fixed version of herself, she embraces those contradictions and allows personality, humour and imperfection to remain part of the project. Following the release of her debut album CTRL + ALT + DEL, Jordan is now entering a new era, pushing further into her early-2000s R&B influences while experimenting with darker, more electronic sounds. Having already received support from Spotify’s Fresh Finds GSA, RBB Fritz, SPIN 1038, Today FM and EarMilk.
