Kalu isn’t just on a path to the limelight, he’s on a path to making a difference. The 23 year old Fort Lauderdale based Alternative hip-hop artist’s soul-baring music is already connecting with listeners, and with a “never quit” drive, he’s ready to put in the work to reach the entire world. “I want to die with zero regrets,” he says, “I don’t want to be like, ‘I had a dream of this, but I didn’t do it.’ I want to have memories. Memories of everything I did, of all the people I loved, all the people I took care of.” “It took three years of writing until I finally realized that music should have all your soul, and therapy in it.” Listeners didn’t just love Kalu’s music, they related to it. The line between fan and friend began to blur.
