Y.O.G.A.

For over a decade, Styles has lit up dancefloors as one half electronic hitmakers Peking Duk. But while he made his name creating dance music anthems, Styles’ passion has always been for a very different sound: country and western. As Y.O.G.A, he’s pairing that production talent with his deep love of rodeo-ready twang, creating his own brand of boot scootin’ stompers.   Y.O.G.A.’s trademark sound has proven a big hit. In the space of just over a year Styles has made viral gold with his rework of Dolly Parton’s ‘9 to 5’ (which soundtracked over 300K Instagram Reels), clocked up over 5.8M streams with his cover of Billy Ray Cyrus’ ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ (a collaboration with country music star Adam Harvey), given Slim Dusty classic ‘Duncan’ a contemporary rebirth, and even teamed up with Aussie icon Jimmy Barnes for a track. And he’s kept the original releases coming, with country-flavoured singles like ‘Rodeo’ and ‘Forever Hold Your Gun’ helping Y.O.G.A. surpass 660K monthly listens on Spotify.   Whether he’s playing country music mega fest Stagecoach or the local rodeo, for Styles the mission is to bring people together, create community and facilitate one hell of a great time.
