2questionmarks

Formed in 2010 as an alliance between singer-songwriter “poivreVert” aka Pieter Delafortrie and ambient/electronica artist “ Distant Fires Burning ” aka Gert De Meester. What first started out as a remix by the latter of a poivreVert song called "World Smaller, Sweet Coloured”became a more intensive collaboration in making music together and as such, not long after, a series of performances came in several Belgian venues. 2questionmarks was, at first, a live band playing electronic pop-music with tracks like: “World Smaller, Sweet Coloured”, “Marketing”, “Orbital Jones”, “The Same Wave”, “Protest Song”, etc.. they also played as support for Belgian etheric indietronica band SX. There were maybe plans for recording an album or ep, … and then in 2012 one questionmark became father, the other followed later on and other musical projects and life itself got in the way. So the project was set on an indefinite hiatus. In 2023 things started to be questioned again and out of a spiking need to save some sounds of 2questionmarks for posterity, the two recorded an ep. Their all-time motto: “Oh Spirelli”… don’t ask!
