Chris Scott

Chris is a singer-songwriter based in Lynchburg, Virginia, blending indie folk, soul, and faith into music that is honest, warm, and deeply personal. A strong guitarist with a distinctive approach to songwriting, Chris brings the same attention to musical detail to his performances as he does to his recordings. His songs explore love, loss, doubt, hope, and the ways faith can meet us in the middle of real life. Rather than offering easy answers, Chris writes from experience—creating music that leaves room for both questions and belief. His music has already reached radio audiences across the country, and he is currently working toward his debut album. Lynchburg has been home to artists like John Mark Pantana and Grace Runkle, and Chris Scott is part of a growing community of Virginia artists bringing an intimate, thoughtful voice to faith-driven music. Still early in his journey, Chris is building a body of work centered on one simple idea: make something honest enough that people recognize themselves in it.
