Trumpeter Rob van de Wouw, one of the leading musicians of the dutch electro-jazz scene released (Oct 2009) his second album ‘Tunnelvision’ produced by Marc de Clive-Lowe, which had outstanding reviews in the media. The album got an Edison (Dutch Grammy) for best Jazz/World album 2010 in The Netherlands His new sound, a collection of electronic beats and acoustic instruments, eclectic improvisations over electro-funk grooves provides ways to explore his talent. Accompiened by the best dutch musicians from the funk and jazz scenes, Rob van de Wouw recorded ‘Tunnelvision’ together with brokenbeat founder Marc de Clive-Lowe, who is concidered one of the most groundbreaking musicians of the UK Broken Beat an Nujazz movemement and collaborated with artists as Lauren Hill, Omar and Jody Watley.cTunnelvision is a highly original album and shows a glimpse of the future in jazz.
