The Drifter

The Drifter aka Mark Flynn is a music enthusiast first. An all-round talent who's love for what he does shines through at every turn. A take note producer, diverse selector and label owner with over a decade of experience in the scene. He burst onto the scene with his debut EP on Munich label Permanent Vacation, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem called his EP 'really nice, gentle and strong". Soon after he formed his own label Maeve Records with close friends Mano Le Tough, Baikal and Lil Dave. The label releases highly regarded electronic music, scoring some big records along the way. His talent as a DJ has allowed him to tour the world, playing at highly regarded venues as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Pacha, Space, Trouw, Robert Johnson and Coachella. He has also made respected entries to the Boiler Room and Beats In Space DJ mix series. He has become an in demand remixer over the years, showing a knack for putting his own spin on things. His love of music is not bound to genre, his radio shows and DJ mixes a case in point. His most recent EP Ultraviolet on Maeve Records comes with his own vocals on the lead track, another string to his musical bow. The EP has garnered plenty of attention thus far and with Summer tour dates, remixes and collaborations on the way, 2023 looks to be a banner year for The Drifter.
