Ofelia

Ofelia, the stage name of Polish singer, songwriter and composer Iga Krefft, has built one of the most distinctive voices in Poland’s alternative pop scene. Having left her early career in television behind, she has developed a deeply personal musical identity rooted in intimate songwriting, alternative pop, guitar-driven arrangements and a sharp sense of emotional storytelling. Her music moves between vulnerability and confidence, melancholy and playfulness, creating a world that is both deeply personal and immediately relatable. Across her albums Ofelia and Osiem, and the EPs CRUSH and SAFE, she has developed a language of her own — one that turns complicated emotions, relationships and the search for love into vivid, often disarmingly direct songs. Her latest release, SAFE (2025), continues the story started with CRUSH, approaching falling in love and emotional vulnerability from the perspective of safety and closeness. The EP combines Ofelia’s signature guitar sound with softer, more sensual textures and features collaborations with Vito Bambino and Natalia Przybysz. Ofelia is also an accomplished live performer. She has appeared at some of Poland’s biggest festivals and has built a strong following through sold-out club shows. One moment particularly captures her relationship with the stage: two years after promising an audience that she would return to the same stage with a guitar, she came back — and played it.
