The Other Guys

The Other Guys are a Washington, D.C.–based production duo crafting cinematic, sample-rich hip-hop rooted in soul, grit, and intention. Known for their ability to bring out elite performances from lyricists, they’ve worked with a heavyweight roster including Che Noir, 38 Spesh, Ransom, Skyzoo, Smoke DZA, Von Pea, Tanya Morgan, Homeboy Sandman, J-Live, Wordsworth, Kooley High, Le$, Awon, Young Roddy, and Jae Skeese. In 2023, they teamed up with Skyzoo for the full-length concept album The Mind of a Saint, a critically acclaimed project told from the perspective of Franklin Saint (from the FX hit series Snowfall). The album debuted at #1 on Apple ITunes Hip Hip Charts and landed on year-end lists from Okayplayer, Complex, and Ambrosia For Heads, solidifying their place among today’s most thoughtful producers. They followed it with Che Noir’s 2025 album ‘No Validation’—a project that reaffirms their ability to create lush, full-album experiences that pair razor-sharp lyricism with rich, textured beats.
