Biography & Metadata
Yoshimoto is the songwriter behind “Du What U Du,” the 2004 single co-produced with Andy Caldwell and released on Caldwell’s UNO Recordings, that became a club hit — nominated for Best Underground Track at the 2005 Winter Music Conference — and spawned remixes from Anders Trentemøller, H-Man, Bini & Martini, Claudio Coccoluto, Serge Santiago, and Markus Schulz. After releasing music in the early 2000s, Yoshimoto stepped away from the music spotlight to continue to pursue innovation in visual effects and technology with music always at the center. “Du What U Du” still stands as a lasting example of the electro house sound of its era—a record whose groove, atmosphere, and evolving remix history continue to connect with new listeners.
