Mendeleyev Galileo Einstein Pythagoras Darwin Euclid Leonardo Allan-Blitz was raised in Santa Barbara by parents who encouraged psychedelic exploration. Lev (for short) is a baritone Singer/Songwriter/Producer based in Los Angeles, CA. Appearing on Season 17 of NBC’s The Voice on @John Legend ‘s Team, his low booming voice got all 4 coaches to turn their chairs with his viral rendition of “Girl from the North Country”. Opening for and/or Collaborating w/ artists like Ben Harper, Jackson Browne, Madison Cunningham, Casey Abrams, Haley Reinhart, Glen Phillips. Mendeleyev also headlined the 4th of July at The Rose Bowl Stadium, singing for 30,000 people. Trained by Bobby McFerrin in voice improvisation. Highly influenced by a variety of legends with a vocal combination of Johnny Cash and Van Morrison , moving lyrical content of Bob Dylan , and the fingerpicking style of John Mayer, he seeks fresh hybrids of folk/funk or electronic/acoustic.
