Jimmy Dunne, known as Nogymx, is an Irish-born artist/producer based in South Korea. Renowned for his mix of traditional sounds from his adopted home, old-school boom bap, and ethereal soundscapes, Nogymx has crafted a unique space for himself in the instrumental hip hop scene. Influenced by the simplicity and nostalgic warmth of Nujabes, and the soulful sample-chopping of the likes of Madlib and J Dilla, Nogymx weaves together jazz, soul, and easy-listening influences with ethereal soundscapes and a subtle touch of Korean folk. This distinctive blend has earned the Irish producer spots on over 200,000 user playlists and over 120 million streams across all platforms. While building a strong online presence with releases on labels like Lofi Records (Lofi Girl on YouTube), the South Korea-based producer has also brought his music to the live stage, playing solo shows and performing with the local Beats And Loops team all across Korea.
