Mayflower Madame

In November 2024, Norwegian band Mayflower Madame launched their highly anticipated third LP 'Insight'. Mixed and mastered by Maurizio Baggio (The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher, and The Vacant Lots), it saw the band refining their their signature blend of pulsating post-punk and atmospheric shoegaze into a sharper and more expansive sonic landscape than ever before. The album garnered much acclaim and extensive radio support, including MOJO, Rolling Stone Germany, Eclipsed Magazine, Sonic Seducer, Rumore Magazine, BBC 6 Music and many more. It also brought them out on tour in fourteen different countries. On August 28th 2026, Mayflower Madame is launching a new “Deluxe Version” of 'Insight' including five previously unreleased bonus tracks. The new bonus tracks were originally recorded at the same time as the rest of the album and show the band's great variation and depth ranging from catchy dream-pop to haunting dark-wave and psychedelia. Over the past years, Mayflower Madame has gained a reputation far beyond their hometown of Oslo, Norway. They made their debut with the album 'Observed in a Dream' in 2016, which received rave reviews and earned them tours across Europe and North America, while 2020s long-awaited sequel 'Prepared for a Nightmare' firmly established their position as one of the continent’s most distinctive bands in the psych-gaze genre, infused with 1980s dark romanticism.
