Saphileaum

Saphileaum, the pseudonym of Georgian multi-media artist Andro Gogibedashvili (ანდრო გოგიბედაშვილი), unites various musical elements to create immersive sonic experiences that traverse cosmic and world landscapes. Growing up in a family steeped in Georgian musical tradition and art, as the grandchild of the famous national singer and actor Temur Tsiklauri, Andro's artistic journey was profoundly influenced by his heritage, spurring a passion for creative expression. Inspired by Georgian myths and legends, esotericism, mysticism, earth, unity, truth and the secrets of the universe, Saphileaum's music & DJ sets blend various musical genres and elements including: Ambient, Downtempo and New Age to evoke a sense of introspection and tranquility, taking the listener to expeditions as above, so below. His sound alchemy can be described as "Cosmic, Relaxing, Fun, Percussive, Spiritual. Unifying and Mystic", fitting perfectly for gatherings, exhibitions, relaxation or meditation. A milestone in Saphileaum's career came in 2022, when a snippet of his composition, "Cosmic Lake Transparency," was transmitted as a radio signal to the exoplanet K2-18B from the Goonhilly Earth Station in England, marking a historic moment as the second Georgian artist to have their music journey into deep space and enriching the cultural landscape, leaving an enduring mark on the world of art and expression.
