Biography & Metadata

Komok is a project by London-based Italian composer Alessandro Inglima, marking his first full dive into electronic music—driven by experimentation, groove, and textural risk-taking. Rooted in instrumental production, the project moves fluidly across acid house, big beat, IDM, and leftfield electronica, with a distinctive, genre-defying approach to rhythm and sound design. Drawing on the raw funk of early Daft Punk and the experimental spirit of Aphex Twin, alongside influences from vaporwave and vintage video game music, Komok delivers groove-driven, mid-tempo tracks with an analogue sensibility—blending nostalgia with futuristic textures. Alessandro’s creative career has long existed between music and film, with the two practices continuously influencing one another. Originally starting out as a bass player, his musical path has developed across experimentation with sound effects and synthesizers, an approach that also reflects in his work composing electronic soundtracks for short films, documentaries, theatre projects, and live performances. \ \ \ Protopia – Album (releasing 2026) Protopia is an instrumental electronic album built around imagined worlds and speculative futures. Conceived as an audiovisual project, the album is accompanied by a sequence of short video artworks — microfilms and visualizers — that expand its narrative world. https://klipspringer404.wordpress.com/ instagram.com/music_from_another_planet_
