Biography & Metadata

DISCOHEN plays disco classics the way they imagine Leonard Cohen would have played them. The project originated in Pim van de Werken's mind and studio. Together with singer Teije en Zijn Meisjesleger / The Virgin Army he recorded the debut album Popular Positions. Assisted by Lotte Pen on saxophones, Fenneke Schouten on vocals and Bart van der Lee on guitar. Joined by Bart Reinders on drums and Sjoerd van Reeuwijk on keys they toured as a seven-peace live band and released the EP 'Three new Songs'.
