So much so that since his official 2017 debut, “Blessed”, the young Dutch artist has pulled in a truly ridiculous number of streams — over 50m and counting on Spotify alone, putting his catalogue of potent productions for fellow country stars; Josylvio, Chivv, F.I., Broertje, Idaly, Woenzelaar, Kempi, Lijpe and more, above that of peers. 
 BLAXX’s Dominican ancestry and above all, fierce passion for drumming meant he was no ordinary kid from the city. He was different; his exceptional ear for rhythms quickly became the highlight of his youth, eventually flinging him into the world of music production back when he was just a fresh-faced teen. Still, like every prodigy born to win, so did BLAXX and it did not take long for his brilliance to catch the sights of a big leaguer. 
 Rapper, Sevn Alias was that big leaguer; the one to hand BLAXX his first commercial test “Blessed”. A stunning placement of its time, the song went on to register 8.6m streams on Spotify and 3.2m views on YouTube, concluding its reign with the Enschede star getting signed to his label “1OAK” the place BLAXX would go on to score his next wave of big productions. Up next was 101barz, a Hip-Hop platform that gave the producer a bigger stage to connect with audiences as well as share his artistic process with the for the first time.
