Sophia St. Helen

Sophia St. Helen is a singer-songwriter from the San Francisco Bay Area, Ca. Her smooth vocals paired with her 60s/70s inspired songwriting and productions blend her classic influences (Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young) with modern ones (Father John Misty, Adrianne Lenker). As a result, her music aligns with modern indie artists like Julia Jacklin, boygenius, and Marika Hackman. St. Helen is somewhat of a nomad, splitting time between Europe and the U.S., as well as exploring other parts of the world both as a touring musician and as a traveler. Inspired by transience and change, Sophia writes thoughtful, introspective and often existential lyrics that give a level of depth to her guitar-driven compositions.
