Bangkok-born YOUNGOHM is a pioneering Thai rapper, singer, and songwriter. He made his first public appearance at the age of 16 through a rap battle competition called ‘RAP IS NOW’ in 2015, which was a pivotal moment that brought rap and hip-hop into mainstream popularity in Thailand. He later rose through the ranks of Thailand’s underground hip-hop scene by dominating numerous rap battle circuits and releasing influential mixtape singles in 2016. These early releases helped establish his reputation as a bold and fearless new voice. In 2017, he released the viral track “Choey Moey” The song became an overnight sensation and introduced him to a wider national audience with his signature melodic rap style and distinctive vocals. His momentum continued with the 2018 hit “Doo White” a powerful anthem about life struggles. The phrase became a viral meme across the Thai internet. After years of honing his craft, he released his debut studio album, "Bangkok Legacy" in 2020. The album achieved massive streaming success and has since become an iconic work of melodic Thai rap. He followed this with his second album in 2023 — an explosive, high-school-themed project packed with chart-topping hits, including the Songkran-season-defining anthem ‘Thatthong Sound’, which went super viral across Thailand and even trended worldwide. The project showcased his unique ability to blend hard-hitting representational rap with elements of local rave and dance music culture.
