Biography & Metadata

The Shandies are Shannon Stine and Natalie Wlodarczyk, a married folk duo from the Missouri Ozarks who have spent more than a decade making music side by side—and building an entire life together while doing it. With two intertwining acoustic guitars and their signature “fresh-squeezed harmony,” The Shandies create music that moves comfortably between folk, Americana, indie pop, and rock. Their songs draw from their own lives, exploring relationships, family, guilt and identity, and old wounds that look different from middle age. The Shandies have found that the more honestly they write about their own experiences, the more their listeners seem to recognize pieces of their own stories in the music. That connection extends to the stage, where their playful banter and easy chemistry have become a hallmark of their live shows. Their fourth full-length album, First Born (2026), dives into the responsibilities of firstborn daughters, the stories and roles we inherit, and the choices we make about what to carry forward.
