Biography & Metadata
DJ, musician & producer, Fred Falke, is a pioneer of the French Touch scene whose influence spans both decades and genres. His early collaborations resulted in critically acclaimed tracks such as ‘Rubicon’ and the global hit ‘Running – Intro’, while his remix of The Whitest Boy Alive's ‘Golden Cage’ transforms the original into a glossy, euphoric piece of electro-pop. Falke has never been afraid to experiment, which can be best seen in the evolution between ‘808pm at the beach’ from his classic Bloghouse/French Touch debut album PART IV and ‘Crepuscule’ from his EP, ALPHA, which is widely considered to have spearheaded the Synthwave movement. As a DJ, Falke is a master of infectious dance beats, swaying between House, Disco, and French Touch to create his signature sound that is unabashedly huge and peak-time ready. Falke started his career as a bass player before moving into song writing and production and has written tracks for the likes of Ellie Goulding, Sarah Harding, Florrie, and Gossip, released collaborations with Tiësto, Felix Da Housecat, and BURNS, and created official remixes for Gregory Porter, Jamiroquai, and Robyn.
