Biography & Metadata

Tezymiles is an Afrobeats and Afro-fusion artist from Onne, Eleme in Rivers State, Nigeria, whose music threads the rich heritage of classic Afrobeat and highlife through a contemporary Niger Delta lens. Based out of Port Harcourt, he has spent the better part of a decade carving out a distinct voice — rooted in tradition, sung in both English and his native Eleme, and unafraid to celebrate where he comes from. His journey began in 2016 with the freestyle "Never Trade You," followed by his official debut project, the Son of a Priest EP, in 2021. He continued building his catalogue with the singles "Ocean" (2022) and "Osila Mummy" (2022) — the latter a heartfelt tribute to women, performed in the Eleme language and a quiet statement of cultural pride. That groundwork has opened a new chapter. After signing with The Iconiq Music Ltd, Tezymiles returns on 22 May 2026 with "Na Money," his label-debut single. Originally recorded in 2024 and rerecorded in 2026 with sharper production and renewed conviction, the song fuses Afrobeats percussion with highlife-inflected guitar textures — a record about ambition, hustle, and the universal pursuit of better. Drawing from the pioneers of Afrobeat and the legends of highlife, Tezymiles steps into this next phase as a fully-formed artist. "Na Money" is not his beginning — it is the moment the wider world catches up.
