Pavel Matckevich

Pavel was born in the city of Zima in Eastern Siberia, has been playing the violin since the age of 7, at the age of 16 he lives in Novosibirsk where he enters the conservatory to Yuri Mazchenko to play the viola, a year later he moves to Moscow and continues his studies with Vyacheslav Trushin and later with Mikhail Kugel. In Moscow, an active search for himself as a musician begins. Pavel worked in the orchestras of MGASO (chief conductor P. Kogan), the Youth Orchestra named after Nikolaev, in the Galina Vishnevskaya Center and in the Oleg Tabakov Drama Theater. In 2018, he meets and begins working with composer Evgeny Grinko, participates in the recording of the "Naive album" and the video "Once upon a time And becomes a full-fledged member of the band. In the same 2018, Pavel begins to try to professionally write music and songs in various genres from minimalism to rock. In 2020, he takes part in the recording of the album “Orange marmalade”, and in the same year he begins collaborating with Felix Bondarev as a session musician. In 2021, he actively tours Turkey as part of the Grinko ensemble. In 2023, he takes part in the album of the underground artist Arseny Baptist. He also actively performs as a solo musician, mainly in the city of Istanbul. In 2024, he takes part in the recording of the album “Winter moonlight” in 2025, together with the E. Grinko ensemble, he performs in Berlin, London and Manchester
