Marvin Sykes

Marvin, born and raised in Bristol, has been part of the music scene for over 20 years. His passion for music began at the age of 15, and by 18, he was active in Bristol's underground music scene. After visiting Ibiza, Marvin discovered his love for House music and started networking within the Ibiza club scene. In 2013, he began producing, and in 2016, his first track 'Let’s Go Back' was signed by Judge Jules’ label "Judgment." This led to performances alongside Judge Jules at events in the South West and an invitation to perform at the Ministry of Sound in London. Marvin has released Altra Moda Music (NL), Perfect Havoc (UK), Stereohype (UK) and House U. His energetic house earned him a Tech House Number 1 ranking on Traxsource with his track "How We Dance," and support from renowned club and DJ figures such as Selena Faider (BBC 1 Radio) and David Penn. Marvin's "DJ MIX" was featured on "Slam Radio" in Holland, alongside Joel Corry, EDX, Vintage Culture, Oliver Heldens, and Solardo. His Power Hour DJ mix is available on Apple Music. Marvin also hosts a monthly podcast titled "Sykes Sessions," featuring the hottest house music tracks and mixes, reaching an audience of over a million listeners across more than 100 countries. Marvin's trajectory is undoubtedly upward, with tracks signed by Kiss FM’s DJ SKT label (Stashed) and Wh0’s label Wh0 plays. He is continuing to build his networks locally in Bristol and beyond, a rising star in the industry, with more to come.
