Straight out of the heart of Oakland, California, #Dre West Oakland represents the raw energy and resilience of the Bay. Blending street storytelling with sharp wordplay and West Coast flavor, Dre delivers music that’s as real as the city that raised him. His sound pays homage to Oakland’s rich hip-hop legacy while carving out a lane that’s entirely his own — gritty, soulful, and unfiltered. Raised in the Acorn projects until 11 years old then moved to Ghost Town until an adult he claims West Oakland to shed light on the whole area and not just one specific hood in his region because he grew up on & has love for his whole section. Since the age of 4 years old he’s been rapping. He also produced & made beats with reasons and FL studios between the ages of 10-16 before he decided to just focus fully on rapping. He was apart of a kid rap group of 4 named “Hyphy Kids” who dropped an album together in 2007 on iTunes and in stores. After doing multiple years in & out of the Jail system as a preteen and young adult he decided to come up with the name “#Dre West Oakland” to show the world where he comes from and the story behind his life. After being acquitted in trial for a murder case in 2014 he pursued a solo rap career and released over 1,000 songs since 2015 with multiple features with platinum artists from all over the United States, With every release, #Dre is putting on for his city and building a movement rooted in authenticity, ambition, and the spirit of the Bay.
