Reitse Machiel crafts piano-driven pop that blends singer-songwriter storytelling with elements of EDM, soul, and electropop. Perfect for uplifting pop playlists, emotional piano pop, and late-night driving mixes, his signature sound pairs expressive piano with soaring melodies, rich vocal harmonies, and modern electronic production, sitting naturally alongside artists like OneRepublic, Coldplay, The Fray, Ed Sheeran, Benson Boone, SG Lewis, and SHAED. Raised in the Netherlands, Reitse discovered music as a child, an early passion that inspired him to step onto the stage and overcome his shyness. Years later, after experiencing depression, songwriting became a way to turn his struggles into songs filled with hope. Honest lyrics and piano textures lie at the heart of every release, creating emotional pop that finds hope even in life's darkest moments. Reitse has appeared on national television through The Hit, De Beste Singer-Songwriter van Nederland, and Talent Unplugged. His single Circles surpassed half a million streams after going viral on Instagram, while his music has earned placements on New Music Friday NL and Goodmorning, alongside airplay on Dutch national radio. He has also performed at venues including AFAS Live and the Olympic Stadium Amsterdam. Following his signing with Rexius Records in 2026, Reitse Machiel is entering a new chapter with five upcoming singles that continue to blend infectious pop melodies and heartfelt songwriting.
