Red Cain

Vodka, Veles, Victory. Led by war and poetry and carrying the torch as high priests of the Slavic god of war Veles, Red Cain champion metal as a storytelling vehicle in the tradition of Slavic bards from ages past - with blows of the hammer, and threshing of the scythe. Equally at home among progpower, black metal, djent, and metalcore, the ensemble from the great Canadian North continues to push musical boundaries from a new technopagan angle, true to their melancholic Eastern European roots, and with that subtle Lovecraftian wrongness that opens just slightly the primeval gateway to that dark things that lurk beneath the facade of civilization. For fans of Kamelot, Periphery, Tesseract, Marilyn Manson.
