Biography & Metadata
Bombay Dub Orchestra ( Garry Hughes, Andrew T Mackay ) Bombay Dub Orchestra’s fourth album, 'Radiotron' feels like the culmination of everything they have been building towards over the past twenty years. Spanning ten tracks and running for almost an hour, it draws together recordings made across Mumbai, Istanbul, Kingston, London, Rockfield Wales and the United States into a work that feels simultaneously intimate and vast. The album will be released in early 2027. From this album, ‘View From Space’ (out 23rd September 2026) explores the idea that, from afar, our incredible world appears both breathtakingly beautiful and remarkably small. Just as newspapers can report the same story from different perspectives, each revealing a slightly different narrative, this Remix EP reimagines the same composition through the unique voices of artists from around the world. The original version of 'View From Space', features the late legendary Sly & Robbie, recorded at Anchor Studios in Kingston, Jamaica. This new EP brings together an international collective of producers and musicians, each offering their own interpretation of the track. Featuring remixes by Karsh Kale (India/USA), Sheriff (Trinidad), and Vlastur (Greece), alongside new mixes by Bombay Dub Orchestra and Delia Derbyshire Appreciation Society. The EP celebrates the richness of diverse musical perspectives while reminding us that, viewed from space, we all share the same home.
