DJ Mike MD

From the early days of German hip-hop to today’s Latin club sound, DJ Mike MD has always moved between cultures, rhythms and generations. As co-founder and original DJ of Advanced Chemistry, he helped shape a defining chapter of German hip-hop history. He also founded and produced Colours United, combining hip-hop, funk and socially conscious songwriting with an international outlook. Today, his sound connects those B-boy roots with Latin and reggaeton energy. His collaborations with Chilean reggaetonero Sesman include “Por Ti,” “Lambo Mambo” and “Como Estas Tu.” His music also reached the big screen: “Breakers Dedication – Recall 2013,” performed by Colours United featuring DJ Mike MD, appears in the dance film Battle of the Year. Rooted in hip-hop. Driven by funk. Open to the world.
