Panic City, a Filipino-American DJ and producer from the Bay Area, has seen both the highs and lows of the music industry. After over a decade of playing in clubs, Panic City walked away from music in 2020, feeling the pressure to cater to the masses instead of following his own artistic vision. Burned out from chasing trends just to pay the bills, he spiraled and ultimately quit. But after three years of reflection and growth, he’s back—and this time, it’s on his own terms. Reigniting his passion for music, Panic City is now driven by his authentic voice, creating the melodic electronic sounds that first inspired him. The artist inside has been reborn.
