Matthieu Faubourg

Matthieu Faubourg is a French producer and DJ moving between deep house, jazz, and garage — always rooted in emotion, always hard to pin down. Finding his way into electronic music at 23, he has built a reputation as one of the most personal voices on the European house scene. His music has been picked up by Gerd Janson, Move D, Jamie Jones, Cinthie, Lauren Lo Sung, Enzo Siragusa, Horse Meat Disco, and many more. His breakthrough "Please, Stay" accumulated dozens of millions of plays across platforms. Since then, he has released on Jazzy Couscous, Smile for a While, Neovinyl Recordings, Pulse Msc, and Shall Not Fade. His self-released second album Same But Not Really (2023) followed his debut Simplicity Is The Ultimate Sophistication (2019), with The Normal Boy EP on HOUSEWAX arriving in late 2024. 2026 has already seen new music with Just Try (You See?), confirming that Matthieu Faubourg remains as restless and creative as ever. A globetrotter who has played in over 20 countries, his music carries that accumulated weight — warm but searching, dancefloor-ready but deeply human.
