Biography & Metadata

Konsequence Muzik is an independent Canadian music production and entertainment brand founded by Jamaican-born, Calgary-based producer, recording artist and songwriter Tristmar “TrizO” Peart. Rooted in Jamaican sound-system culture, its journey began with Konsequence International Sound System in 2008 before expanding into record production and artist development. The catalogue spans dancehall, reggae, R&B and Caribbean crossover music, with recordings featuring artists including Mavado, Beenie Man, Gyptian, Jahmiel, Konshens, I-Octane, Chronic Law and Lady Saw. A defining milestone came with Jahmiel’s “True Colours,” produced by Konsequence Muzik, which reached No. 1 on the Tempo Cross Caribbean Countdown. Projects such as Kurfew Riddim, Life To Live Riddim, 6ixteen Riddim and Pain Love Misery Riddim reflect the brand’s evolving sound. Today, TrizO continues to grow as both a producer and recording artist. Collaborations include “Touch Me” with CEGIE and G Loc, “Ginnal,” “So Mi Like Dat” and “Treat Me Right” with CEGIE, and “Rum & Hennessy” with Draziq, featuring KMT Studio. From Jamaica to Calgary, Konsequence Muzik connects Caribbean roots with contemporary sounds and audiences around the world. Founded in Canada. Rooted in Jamaica. Built for the world.
