Machana

Machana is a fast rising African creative community founded by Solebrown. The collective was founded in 2017 when Solebrown decided to act on the idea of bringing together Djs, songwriters, dancers, music producers and versatile artists in a community in order to create through collaborations. Between 2017 to 2019 the collective has created and joined platforms in order for its members to perform their work of art (music) at several events in their home town base. ‘The aim of the collective was never to create a buzz, whether online or elsewhere. We only just wanted to collaborate in ideation and creation processes, then release our music offline’ Solebrown stated while talking about the collective. After 2019, the collective went quiet away till 2021 when its members came back together in order to work together again. They have created a lot of new works between that time and now. They have a collective music project to be released soon across all digital music streaming platforms.
