OGENE

OGENE is a singer/songwriter group of three sisters named Lisa, Amy and Shelley. Starting young, they represented the Netherlands at the JESC in 2007. They secured a record deal and released several youth singles and albums. In 2014, they won The Voice of Holland as OG3NE and in 2017 they participated in the Eurovision Song Contest. They released multiple successful singles & albums and toured sold-out theaters. During the pandemic, they performed popular streaming concerts and viral cover videos, earning praise from artists like members of Queen and Dolly Parton. After being guided by professionals in their musical journey for nearly twenty years, they found space for a new level of creativity. They realized they could navigate their path as a trio, focusing on self-directed creation and exploration. Ready to take the lead, they decided to move forward on their own terms, confident in their collective strength. “We were singers; now we are artists. That insight brings so much satisfaction." Now there is new music, created without direction and without rules, except that it must come from their hearts. Phenomenon is the first proof of OGENE’s evolution. OGENE, without the “3”, which you don’t need to write—you’ll hear it. It's an encouragement to find strength and confidence in yourself and not to rely on the validation of others. "We hope that it inspires people to follow their own path. You are not the only one who believes in you; you are simply the first.”
