Versum

VERSUM | From Psychadelic Art-Rock to storytelling Indie Rock In 2014, Versum was founded as an art rock band after countless jam sessions. After joint concerts, many written songs and an album, the keyboarder left the band in 2016, after which they reoriented themselves musically. Thinking in pigeonholes is not part of the mentality of the three musicians, nor is it part of their music. This is how varied songs are created that are not too closely tied to one genre. Versum rediscovers itself again and again without forgetting its roots. You hear that Versum's songs have to say something, convey a feeling, and so Jan Gasser consciously writes songs and lyrics that move him. The songs get liveliness and new influences through jam sessions with bassist Nando Horat and drummer Tobias Ehrler, and only if a song really flashes all three will it be worked out together. The band has been working on their upcoming album 'Moonchild' since 2021, which will be released on vinyl by Monobuster Records in 2022. Versum stands for creative and emotional expressive music. @versum.the.band https://www.instagram.com/versum.the.band/
