Biography & Metadata

Janeuary is an alternative pop singer-songwriter from Ukraine. She is a storyteller, a composer, and an artist whose music transcends genres, blending cinematic depth with raw emotion. Her music is not made for the masses—it’s crafted for those who seek meaning, for those who feel deeply, for those who crave a sound that resonates with the heart’s unspoken words. Debuted with the instrumental album No News but Muse (2023), inspiring artists worldwide and launched with a charity concert in Kyiv’s botanical garden. First vocal release Heart Exposure Symphony was recorded and filmed at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine—a first for any pop artist. Breakout single In My Damn Head featured on nearly 300 Spotify playlists. Climbed to Everest Base Camp to film the music video for Everest (2024) — no makeup, no crew, just truth. Nineteen Nights (2024) explored love through 19 stories, blending alternative pop with classical depth. Surprised fans with Earendel — a sensual, electronic EP with French lyrics and unexpected collaborations. Black into White music video won two Europe Music Video Awards and received international recognition. Released her first Ukrainian-language songs in 2025: Із підліткових снів and Білих лілій. Gave a full orchestral concert at the National Philharmonic in March 2025. Latest EP Ordinary Witchcraft (Aug 2025) blends melancholy with magic. Selected for the GrassrEUts 2025 artist program.
