Emma Bucknor

Hi! ♡ I'm Emma! I'm a singer-songwriter based in West Wales. I'm a lead-singer in a local cover band called Paper Jam, and, despite only just entering the music-making scene, I've been singing my whole life. A moment I specifically remember is child-me, sat up on my bright-pink bed at sunrise and singing with the birds as the rays shone through the rose-coloured veils over the windows. Yes, I did wake my whole family up. No, I was not in tune. Who can resist a bit of Adele though. The first song I released was a collaboration with local songwriter August Hall, providing vocals to our indie pop song and its popular Bossa Nova remix, 'Leaving Arizona', which also featured on BBC Introducing. I absolutely loved the creative and recording process so much that I decided it was time to release my own music! My first release is Sticker, a song about a love I only want when it's useful to me. I cant wait to share it with you all! My biggest vocal inspirations are definitely Rihanna's smooth and powerful tones, SZA's dreamy runs and harmonies, and Rina Sawayama's imagery and artistic shock-factor! I hope these shine through in my later music! And let's be honest; I'm also heavily influenced by Patrick Stump's Soul Voice™. (How do I italicise for effect?) I hope you enjoy my music! Please stick around! ♡ I'm open for co-writes and collaborations over 2024! ♡ Email me at aimajaneofficial@gmail.com
