Vietnamese-American singer Kauai45, has been finding his own sound by releasing an arsenal of irresistible covers. Born and raised near Seattle, Washington, Kauai45’s genre-bending sounds have garnered millions of streams worldwide. Kauai45 first gained traction in 2020 after releasing a soulful cover of Bill Wither’s “Just the Two of Us”, soundtracking over half a million short-form videos and earning support from popular figures like of Hillary Duff, Kylie Jenner, Victoria Pedretti and so many more. Now after years of releasing covers, Kauai45 has begun releasing original music as well. His 2025 Single “Mirage 1982” is a full-blown disco dance track underneath his soothing vocals. Kauai45 also released an original joint-EP with indieboy92, “Better Late than Never”, a nod to the Southern California Indie sound.
