Mystical Joyride

Mystical Joyride is a genre-fluid Psychedelic World Pop band, steering their cosmic spaceship between the spiritual and the ratchet. Founded by powerhouse couple Leah Van King and Joel Van Dijk, the band was born from Leah’s deep existential questions and Joel’s wizard-level production chops. Leah—a mesmerizing songbird carrying the musical legacy of The Commodores—and Joel—a multi-instrumentalist and producer for artists like Aloe Blacc—fused their talents to create a sound all their own, with each song a unique musical universe.. After dropping their debut EP Enter From The Inside, they welcomed the electrifying Bengali vocalist Arzeen, whose feature work with the group sparked viral success in Bangladesh with the hits “Kalakala” and “Bishom Piriti”. On stage, Mystical Joyride is a full-spectrum experience: part contemplation, part meditation, and all-out booty-shaking liberation. Their live sets weave electronic beats with lush instrumentation, performing as an intimate duo or a full crew of “Joyriders.” The band has rocked stages at Lightning in a Bottle, Joshua Tree Music Festival, Nextfest, Ciclavia, SoulPlay, California Worldfest, and Love Long Beach, while also collaborating with heavy hitters like Aloe Blacc, Rocky Dawuni, and Sri Kala. Mystical Joyride isn’t just a band—it’s a movement. Their latest high-energy anthem “Booty Bounce” is out now, inviting fans everywhere to dance their way into higher consciousness.
