Biography & Metadata

Fresh off the release of their debut album Rooskin are a band from Southend, Essex who combine their array of influences to create a weave of psychedelic, surf-enthused indie pop anthems! With influences like Dope Lemon, Mac Demarco, War on Drugs, Bombay Bicycle Club and Tame Impala you can hear the saccharine Indie-Pop heart beating beneath the hazy-wavey tones. Since seeing traction from their collaborative EP with friends Beach for Tiger, Rooskin have expanded the sounds they found there into their debut album 'Perpetual Spring' which covers feelings of contentment, simplicity and validation. "Saccharine soundscape woven with nostalgic flowing melodies" - Euphoria Magazine "Dreamy Psych-Pop Goodness" - Jake Peach for BBC Introducing “A band who focus on summery sounds, warm synths and hooky vocals. Fun to watch and easy to get involved with!” - Village Green Festival "A feel good sound that you can easily indulge in. Full of warming harmonies and wonderful effects" - Art Will Fall "Encapsulating that carefree feeling and bottling it" - Clout "The right mix and balance between saccharine pop and indie pop" - Come Here Floyd “This band is bringing a totally fresh take on the traditional style of surf pop” - Unheard Gems "FUN" - Ollie Winiberg for BBC Introducing
