Yung Toro

Yung Arturo Yung Toro is a Bristol (UK) based, Italian born hiphop and alternative Artist, Musician and Producer, fusing multiple genres and showing versatility between releases. With influences and styles ranging from Mac Miller, Saba, and Shlohmo, to more local artists such as Gorillaz, A2, and Knucks. With a creatively supported upbringing in an Italian household playing all kinds of music, this lead him to discover artists like Tha Supreme and Fabri Fibra, making him go back to his roots and delving deeper into his Italian origins. Toro started off his creative journey by learning to play bass and dancing at the age of 10, before creating electronic music that he could dance to; discovering a diverse range of genres which lead him to produce Dubstep and EDM, then producing more rock oriented and alternative guitar productions and then mellow, lo-fi tracks in his teenage years. Having written lyrics for over a decade now, his musical journey has come full circle, fusing acoustic sounds and electronic percussion with vintage samples. Expect trappy, modern, bouncy drums with 808’s and smooth, deep vocals that paint a picture of his creative lifestyle and Italian origins.
