Avarwen

Avarwen is the ethereal music project of Canadian vocalist and composer Amy Wallace. An artist known for her haunting, expressive voice and cinematic approach to storytelling through sound. Blending ambient textures, orchestral depth, and modern pop influences, her music exists in the space between worlds, where emotion, myth, and atmosphere intertwine. Rooted in inner exploration, Avarwen’s sound invites listeners into moments of stillness, reflection, and awakening. Amy’s artistic path has been shaped through collaborations with a wide range of renowned and immensely talented composers and producers across film, game, and contemporary music. Lending her voice to cinematic and atmospheric works has expanded her sonic palette and deepened her connection to emotive, story-driven soundscapes. These experiences have helped define Avarwen’s signature balance of intimacy and grandeur, allowing her to move fluidly between subtle vulnerability and sweeping, immersive expression. As Avarwen, Amy channels these experiences into music that is deeply personal yet universally resonant. Each song is crafted as an emotional landscape — a place where shadow meets light, where vulnerability becomes strength, and where listeners are invited to reconnect with the divine spark within themselves. Her work is both a sanctuary and a journey, offering sound as a bridge between the human and the eternal.
